Bio
Tricia Ebner is the Gifted Coach & Coordinator as well as the MTSS Coordinator for Norton City Schools in Norton, Ohio. Her 33 years in education include 26 years as a classroom teacher, with the majority of those years spent supporting gifted learners as a gifted intervention specialist, supporting students’ strengths and continued skill development in math, science, English language arts. She has served as a member of Ohio’s Educator Leader Cadre, a Teacher Champion, and has been involved in standards revisions with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. She has collaborated with teachers K-12 in writing curriculum maps and selecting instructional materials aligned to standards for mathematics and ELA. She holds National Board Certification in Early Adolescent English Language Arts. She is also an adjunct instructor in Malone University’s courses for gifted child education. She lives in Wadsworth, Ohio, with her husband, son, and two miniature dachshunds who wish they were Dobermans.
