ADHD Assessment Webinar Series

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment (ADHD): Age, Cultural, and Accommodation Considerations

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition that impacts approximately 5% of children and 2% of adults in the United States. This neurodevelopmental disorder has been linked to adverse long-term outcomes including school underachievement, relational issues, and substance use. Given these realities of ADHD, it is important to take a preventative, life course health development (LCHD) approach to ADHD assessment and intervention to identify risk factors and protective factors to determine how to improve outcomes for individuals with ADHD. This five-part webinar will be led by scholars and practitioners who will discuss evidence-based practice for assessing ADHD and providing testing accommodations, from young childhood to adulthood and for individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. Continuing education/continuing professional development (CE/CPD) credits are available. See CE Sponsor approvals.
